This opportunity is being issued by the Parking Authority (the “Authority”), a body corporate and politic created under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in accordance with the Act of June 19, 2001, P.L. 287, No. 22, as amended, known as the “Parking Authority Law”.

The Authority is seeking proposals from highly qualified vending machine service providers to fully replace existing vending machines at multiple Authority locations. The machines to be replaced include units that dispense packaged food, fresh food, and beverages. The new machines will offer modern features, enhanced reliability, improved user experience, and expanded payment capabilities, while meeting current health, safety, and accessibility standards. In addition to traditional vending machine options, the Authority is seeking micro-market vending solutions. The Authority may award multiple contracts as a result of this solicitation.

Bid No. 25-16 Independence Mall Selective Repair and Renovations

This opportunity is being issued by the Parking Authority (the “Authority”), a body corporate and politic created under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in accordance with the Act of June 19, 2001, P.L. 287, No. 22, as amended, known as the “Parking Authority Law”.

The Authority is seeking bids to perform a selective repair program at the Independence Mall Garage in preparation for the multiple events and celebrations occurring in 2026. This program includes the replacement of the 5th Street Elevator, replacement of the parking deck lighting, repair of the waterproofing membrane at the helix and the 5th Street Stairwell, a renovation of the living wall sprinkler system, the installation of a native, heartier species of plants to improve the year round appearance and reduce the necessary maintenance of the living wall, and minor life safety mitigation work including spall removals on the parking decks.

This is a five-prime opportunity for General Construction, Landscape, Elevator, Electrical and Irrigation.
