Ticket Information
The Philadelphia Parking Authority offers four ways to pay parking tickets so that you can choose the method that is most convenient for you.

Contractor Parking Permit
A Contractor Parking Permit is only used to perform a contractor service. This program was established to enable licensed contractors to access their vehicles during the workday to retrieve materials and tools.
Contractor vehicles may park in metered and timed parking zones without limit.

Smart Loading Zones
The PPA’s Smart Loading Zones – equipped with cutting-edge, state-of-the-art cameras designed to monitor and time vehicles and help ensure a smooth and timely turnover of loading and unloading vehicles and spaces – will be activated in 22 center city locations. PPA to Increase Ticketing of Illegal Bus Lane Parking – NBC10
In response to the City's Snow Emergency being lifted at 5 p.m. Saturday, January 29, normal rates will apply at all PPA-operated Center City garages on Sunday, January 30. In order to be eligible for the $5 snow emergency rate, vehicles must exit by 9 a.m. Sunday, January 30.

PHILADELPHIA -- To reduce congestion and improve travel times on Chestnut Street, the City announced today plans for a six month loading zone pilot.
