Red Light Cameras
The Red Light Camera program was enacted in 2005 by the Pennsylvania State Legislature after a report was released naming certain intersections along Roosevelt Boulevard as among the most dangerous roads in the nation. Since the program’s start in 2005, all intersections in which red-light cameras are installed have seen immediate and substantial reductions in red-light running violations.
