November 2019: Board Meeting Round-Up

REMINDER TO MEDALLION OWNERS OF 2011 MODEL YEAR TAXICABS:
In compliance with the age and mileage limitations for taxicabs outlined in the law and Authority regulations, the last day on which a 2011 model year vehicle may be operated in taxicab service is December 31, 2019. This date is fast approaching. See 53 Pa.C.S. § 5714 and Act 164 of 2016 - 53 Pa.C.S. § 57B02 (c)(6); see also 52
Due to mandatory staff training, the Taxicab and Limousine Division's (TLD) Customer Service Window will not open until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2019 and will close at 4:30 p.m. Therefore, the TLD's Customer Service Window will be closed from 8:30-1 p.m.
Regular office hours will resume on Friday, November
