REMINDER TO MEDALLION OWNERS OF 2011 MODEL YEAR TAXICABS:
In compliance with the age and mileage limitations for taxicabs outlined in the law and Authority regulations, the last day on which a 2011 model year vehicle may be operated in taxicab service is December 31, 2019. This opportunity is being issued by the Parking Authority (“Authority”), a body corporate and politic created under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in accordance with the Act of June 19, 2001, P.L. 287, No. 22, as amended, known as the “Parking Authority Law”.
The Authority is soliciting written proposals
As the Philadelphia Parking Authority implements a new customer service interface in the near future, customers can also expect to receive revamped mailings from the Parking Violations Branch and Bureau of Administrative Adjudication.
