On January 16th and 24th, 2015 the TLD issued inspection notices to owners of taxicab medallions P-1 through P-436 in order to begin to confirm compliance with the new Taxicab Safety Camera Regulation, 52 Pa. Code §1017.71. All inspections scheduled pursuant to those notices are hereby
Due to the impending inclement weather this week, the taxicab driver evening training class scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2015 through Thursday, January 29, 2015 is CANCELED. This training class is being rescheduled for the week of Monday, February 23, 2015 beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Notice to the Industry Regarding Taxicab Safety Cameras:
52 Pa Code 1017.71 requires the installation of an Authority approved taxicab safety camera system in all taxicabs by February 23, 2015.
