Charging Up at the PHL Airport

Are you part of the growing trend of electric vehicle (EVs) owners? Well, buckle up because we’ve got some great news for you! If you’re flying out of Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), you can now charge up your EV for free while you’re away.

Here’s the deal: In late 2015, we took the initiative to install seven EV charging stations at PHL. With each station capable of charging two vehicles, that’s a total of 14 EVs that can get a boost while you’re parked during your trip. Best part? It won’t cost you a dime to use these charging stations. Just keep in mind that regular parking rates still apply. Check out the locations below to plan your charge:

These charging stations are managed and operated by ChargePoint, the largest EV charging network in the world. Plus, their mobile app makes finding available charging stations and their exact locations a breeze.

So, if you’re part of the growing group of EV owners and love to travel, PHL has got your back. Have any questions? Reach out to our airport customer service team at 215-683-9840 or shoot us an email at You can also connect with us on X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook for more information!
