RFP No. 21-20 Legal Services 2021
This opportunity is being issued by the Parking Authority (the “Authority”), a body corporate and politic created under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in accordance with the Act of June 19, 2001, P.L. 287, No. 22, as amended, known as the “Parking Authority Law”.
The Authority is soliciting written proposals from qualified law firms for legal services under a contract with the Philadelphia Parking Authority. The intent of this RFP is to secure preapproved law firms able to represent the Authority’s legal interests upon assignment. Over 90% of litigation and nearly all of the transitional work is handled in-house. However, the Authority does routinely engage the services of outside counsel depending on complexity, scope, insurance requirements, conflicts, and other considerations.
