Return to Work Notice

Dear Valued Employee,

The Philadelphia Parking Authority continues to provide superior services while supporting the airport, businesses, and Philadelphia residents. I extend a hearty thank you to our staff that works every day to enforce and manage parking regulations, to operate garages, and to support daily operations and administration. Some of us come to the workplace daily; others continue to telecommute on a part-time or full-time basis. No matter the work location, I commend the Authority’s employees for hard work and commitment to fulfill our mission.

We are transitioning our operational processes as our region continues to address the challenges of coronavirus. We are hopeful as more people schedule vaccinations and school children return to the classroom. Starting the week of April 5, 2021, employees working from home on a full-time basis will return to their worksite on a rotating A/B schedule. This schedule means that all employees will be in the office for a minimum of 2 or 3 days per week. Those employees who have been coming to the worksite to perform their duties will continue to do so. For others, your supervisor will provide details of your schedule in the next few days. As we continue to evolve, your supervisor will address any questions that you may have. For your HR questions or concerns, please contact Human Resources through Darryl White ([email protected]) or Saraann Hagland ([email protected]).

The Authority maintains a work environment that meets and exceeds the City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s standards. Mask requirements, cubicle dividers, and meeting room limitations remain in place. We also continue our aggressive cleaning protocols. We are committed to our employees and respect the need for cooperative and collaborative teamwork as we responsibly work together to maintain a healthy workplace.

I look forward to seeing you again, and I will appreciate the opportunity to greet you in person.

Kind Regards,

Scott Petri, Executive Director
