Due to the Covid -19 epidemic, the Taxicab and Limousine Division (TLD) has instituted an emergency procedure to help medallion owners that do not have operational taxicabs. We will place your medallion in Voluntary Suspension and suspend the meter once you identify the medallion number you are suspending. Please do so in writing by contacting both Christine Kirlin at [email protected] and William Schmid at [email protected]. When you wish to return the taxicab to service, you will first have to contact Debra McManus to confirm that proper insurance is on file. You may contact Ms. McManus at [email protected]. No fee is being charged for this service.
