Patricia Furlong, Esquire, is a member of the Delaware and Pennsylvania Bar. She is a graduate of the University of Delaware and Delaware Law School of Widener University. She began her legal career in private practice and was appointed as deputy attorney general for the Delaware Attorney General’s Office. After moving to Philadelphia, she clerked for the Honorable Vincent A. Cirillo and was an attorney for Superior Court’s Central Legal Staff. She moved on to the federal court with the Honorable James R. Melinson and continued to serve as a Career Law Clerk for several magistrate judges and the Honorable William J. Ditter, Jr., District Court Judge. She retired from federal court in 2018. Ms. Furlong served two terms as a hearing officer for the Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board and currently serves as an arbitrator in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. She is married to the Honorable Vincent W. Furlong, who serves in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. They have four adult children, one daughter is a Philadelphia teacher, and one son is a Philadelphia firefighter.
