REMINDER TO MEDALLION OWNERS OF 2010 MODEL YEAR TAXICABS:
In compliance with the age and mileage limitations for taxicabs outlined in the law and Authority regulations, the last day on which a 2010 model year vehicle may be operated in taxicab service is December 31, 2018. IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING 2019-2020 MEDALLIONS:
Per Authority regulation 52 Pa. Code § 1013.1 (relating to certificate and medallion required), a vehicle may not provide citywide taxicab service unless a current and valid certificate is issued by the Authority to the owner of the vehicle and the medallion assigned to that certificate is attached
