Bids for Miscellaneous Repairs Starting: 7/22/2010 Ending: 8/18/2010 Sealed bids for miscellaneous repairs as described below in the scope of work for the existing Economy Parking Lot at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 by the Philadelphia Parking Authority (Athe Authority@), a body corporate and politic created under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in accordance with the Act of June 19, 2001, P.L.287, No. 22, as amended known as the AParking Authority Law,@ in the offices of the Authority, located at 3101 Market Street - 2nd Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19104-2895, at which time they will be publicly opened, read aloud and recorded. Scope of Work The Philadelphia Parking Authority will perform miscellaneous surface repairs to the existing Economy Parking Lot at PHL. The proposed work consist of partial and full depth repair of damaged paving, pavement marking, installation of Concrete Jersey Barriers with fence, etc. Copies of Bid Documents and Specifications may be obtained from the offices of the Authority, located at 3101 Market Street - 2nd Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19104 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. prevailing time starting Monday, August 2, 2010. The fee for this document is $150.00. Please make check or money order payable to the Philadelphia Parking Authority. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Economy Lot at PHL on Thursday, August 5, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. All vendors wishing to submit a bid are required to attend the pre-bid conference. The deadline for questions concerning this project is Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 5:00 p.m.
