Medallion Voluntary Surrender – Emergency Procedure — NOW EXPIRED

***THE BELOW PROCEDURE IS NOW EXPIRED AND IS NO LONGER BEING OFFERED AS OF JUNE 17, 2020***

Due to the Covid -19 epidemic, the Taxicab and Limousine Division (TLD) has instituted an emergency procedure to help medallion owners that do not have operational taxicabs.  We will place your medallion in Voluntary Suspension and suspend the meter once you identify the medallion number you are suspending.   Please do so in writing by contacting both Christine Kirlin at ckirlin@philapark.org and William Schmid at wschmid@philapark.org.    When you wish to return the taxicab to service,  you will first have to contact Debra McManus to confirm that proper insurance is on file.  You may contact Ms. McManus at dmcmanus@philapark.org.  No fee is being charged for this service.
